Advantages and Disadvantages of Network Marketing — Glitz around the Globe

Schools are closing, events are being cancelled, companies are sending people home. Guess what never closes… the INTERNET.

A wise man once told me – “Learn how to make money whilst you sleep”, this guy happened to be my CEO & whatever he said, I considered legit.

Perhaps this global mishap might jolt you into thinking about other ways of earning a living. An e-commerce business is not perfect but it’s a hell of a lot better. Just think about the power of NOT having to go to a JOB, the CHOICE of working from home and the FREEDOM you would have with that. Earning what you earn now and more but from a different avenue. That is the Power of Arbonne. Come out and hang with me and work on your FREEDOM with me.

There is some stigma attached to the networking marketing business, especially those with multiple tiers, which is associated with pyramid schemes.

Pyramid schemes are illegal, however, if you look closely at your work organizational charts you will soon realise that any “normal” business has the founder on top, followed by C-LEVEL, top management and so on. In pyramid schemes, the top salespeople in the top tier can make impressive amounts of money on commissions from the tiers below them whilst the people on the lower tiers will earn much less. The company makes money by selling expensive starter kits to new recruits.

Fast forward to a few years later and nowadays these business models have changed drastically and became more ethical. Trust me, I have made a lot of research and was approached by many.

“I’m just not sure it’s my thing”
“It’s not for me”
“I’m not interested”

These words have come out of EVERY single current consultant’s mouth who I know before they joined the business!
And certainly, they were my chosen phrases too before I decided to let my ego go. Wondering what people would say or if I am good enough, was another “fear”.  Nobody thinks this business is for them when they’re misinformed. The assumptions of what we do isn’t probably that attractive, because they’re totally incorrect.

I was one of those who turned Arbonne down because I assumed I knew what “Arbonne people do” and wasn’t even open to hearing about what we ACTUALLY do! Oh how wrong I was.

When people approach you, take it as a compliment, it means that there’’s something in you that is coachable. The appeal of network marketing is that an individual with a lot of energy and good sales skills can create a profitable business with a modest investment.

A good rule of thumb, according to the Federal Trade Commission (FCC), is that single-tier network marketing operations tend to be more reputable than multi-tier schemes, in which people make money based on the number of distributors they recruit. This is in fact why I chose Arbonne. Anyone starting after me can become more successful as the amount of money one can earn is in the time they invest.

Why I like Arbonne:

  • Fair & Ethical Business Model
  • Great Compensation Plan (35% – 40% commission)
  • Monthly Bonus
  • No Minimum spend (some companies oblige you to do this)
  • Turn your expenses into income
  • Free Training & community support
  • Great discounts on good quality botanical products
  • You earn money straight away
  • No cap on income
  • Experience is not needed
  • Zero Risks
  • Everything is online

All you need is as little as £30 to have an e-commerce business with a fully operational website, designated customer support & everything is shipped and handled by head office. All you need to do is talk to people about the product and recommend your business.

Sounds too good to be true right? YES, it is!
You might be thinking, is there a catch? Yes, there is, YOU HAVE TO WORK and make your business work. How successful you make it, is entirely up to you.

Other reputable examples of single-tier network marketing operations include Rain Int, Mary Kay, and Excel Communications.

Special tips before making decisions:

• Was it only pitched to make money by selling products or by recruiting others?
• What is the track record of the company’s founders?
• Are you personally enthusiastic about the products?
• Is the product being promoted effectively?
